Corporate Punishment

This was a request for Amber Smithe, who sent me the story outline and a massive photo set she wanted me to use images from. I changed the story around a bit as I decided to tell the whole thing through dialog, which also had the added effect of leading me to write the most awkward transformation description I've ever had in a caption. But as a whole I like how it turned out, and I hope Amber does too.
On a less pleasant note, I'm going to be taking some time off from captioning. I know what some of you are thinking "You're updating once every two weeks as it is, how much more time off do you need?"
To that I say...um...fair point. But here's my current creative process:
My current captions take me about 2 hours to make when you put everything together (image, background, story, formatting). But I usually only have about an hour of free time for captioning. So what usually happens is I end up with a lot of half formed ideas that end up on my to do list. Then when I do get time to revisit the ideas, I want to do something really good as I haven't posted in a while which kills my motivation to do most of the stuff I put on the list.
So I'm taking some time off where I won't look at anything captioning related. Hopefully it won't be much longer than the breaks between my updates are now, and I'll come back with some fresh ideas and the energy to do them. Some more free time would help too, but that doesn't see too likely.

It's been a little while since I've gone dark with a caption, I figured it was time to change that.

This isn't the caption I set out to make today, but when I ran across this photo set I abandoned my plan and set off in a new direction. I struggled for a while on the perspective to take with this caption, as I started out in the head of the transformed "victim" but it wasn't flowing the way I wanted. I'm still not sure if I'm completely happy with the way the story unfolded from the transformers point of view, but I like it a lot better than how it was going before I made the switch, so at least from a writing perspective I'm going to call this one a success. 

My first caption series

I've been a fan of the website Tf-media.net for some time. I've sat back, observed, and found myself enjoying everyone's captions and stories. I finally took it upon myself to create my own. It started with a story, which didn't turn out too well in my own opinion. I mean I liked it, but it could have been better I think. That's why practice makes perfect right?

Anyway here is my first set of captions. I created this series rather quickly with the thought of innocence and revenge in mind. I always like the idea of revenge for some reason. Must have something to do with my past. Here it is for your reading pleasure.

I don't know what has come over me today, but by the signs of my last few captions I need to stop for the night. Call it making up for lost captions if you will, but I think I'm done for the night. Enjoy what I have left in me!... for now...
